Anuradhapura Places to Visit
A UNESCO World Heritage city, Anuradhapura is home to the well preserved ruins of an early civilisation. Founded in 6th century B.C. and flourishing as the capital for 1300 years was the kingdom of Anuradhapura. Places to visit at the complex city include stupas, numerous monasteries, tanks, ponds, and reservoirs which are a true testament of ancient Sri Lanka and it’s advanced architectural skills.
