Our 100-acre property houses a mere handful of eco-friendly dwellings to minimise the human impact on the intricate ecosystems that flourish in the forest, lakes and waterways here. This tranquil haven that blends both agriculture and tourism, possesses a distinctive flair among the eco-friendly hotels in Sri Lanka, and is an active contributor to the welfare of its neighbouring rural farming community. Our vision is to go 100% organic with all our cultivation processes.

Agriculture

We take pride in our organic gardens that house one of the largest assortments of herbal plants fruits & vegetables in the country, as well as our own bees honey, all of which feature on the menus. Irrigation is via restored waterways and windmill-pumped ground water.

Our commitment to environmental welfare has led us to explore avenues to harness renewable energy sources. Currently, 100% of the electricity we consume is generated by solar panels, and our vision is to further reduce our dependency on non-renewable fuel sources.
